It is always about the story behind it.The story behind this photograph is actually quite cool if you enjoy basketball, or sports in general. The clock had approximately 14 seconds left and the Lady Dragons were tied with Cloud County 66-66. The ball lies here on the floor just below our basket just after a player dropped a 3-pointer from the right corner with seconds remaining. The stadium erupted and the mood was at a high point. Cloud County inbounded the ball after a timeout and had about 3 seconds to get down the floor. HCC elected to foul and the game ended shortly after with a 69-67 win. This may be why they are ranked #3 in the nation in NJCAA womens basketball.
